NewsMax.com: Inside Cover Story: "Hillary Clinton - whose role in her husband's administration was to cover up White House misdeeds, slander and otherwise punish political opponents, persecute and fire loyal employees such as the White House's travel staff on trumped-up charges, and frustrate the efforts of investigators probing the Clinton administration - now claims that President Bush is undermining 'democracy.'"

Letterman: "Bush said that part of our problem in Iraq is that Syria and Iran are not doing a very good job of keeping people from crossing the border. Well gee, why don’t we send some of our experts from right here in California."
Careful, Dave. Your good friendly democrats are running the state.

Letterman: "Bush said that the attacks in Iraq are intended to "cause people to run." He’s right – at last count nine Democrats running against him." Yes, Dave, but in running against Bush on this issue they have to tuck their tails between their legs and run away from the enemies of the United States. At least we know who they are: friends of terrorism are terrorists. And I still haven't heard one proposal about what to do about suicide bombers--not from the chicken nine.

NewsMax.com: Inside Cover Story: "Comrade Nancy Pelosi must be celebrating: The U.S. House today refused to expand a pilot project that lets employers check immigrants' identification numbers and ensure they are not in America illegally."

But, but, but, this is just par for the course for these people. Their enemies are nazis, KKKers, bigots, haters of old folks, children, blacks and hispanics. Why not throw in terrorism, too. When the pillar of truth is broken, it doesn't matter how many pieces.
Pelosi Criticized for Calling Raids on Illegal Aliens 'Terrorizing': "Speaking in Mexico City on Friday after border security talks with President Vincente Fox, Pelosi said the action taken by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents amounted to 'terrorizing raids.'"

In his press conference yesterday, Bush came our strongly for the confirmation of his appointees to the courts, but you know how much play that got by the Democratic enablers in the press. They chose to emphasize his accusation that the bombings in Iraq are the work of terrorists. That's news?? Well, Duuuh.
But it is news that his political opponents are denying the American people the service of a great many well-qualified and competent judges on all levels of the judiciary. Democrats hope to bottle these up, win the next election, and put more liberals in place to subvert the liberties of the American people. [see the next blog]

GOP goes on offensive on judges: "Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, frustrated by the audacious campaign of Democrats blocking judicial confirmations, begins a counteroffensive this week."
It's about time. The Democrats are not only denying the President his nominees to the courts, but violating the Constitution. Of course they disdain the constitution, but never more blatantly than in these court appointees. The Constitution only requires the consent of senate, but by filibustering, they are requiring a 60% majority. It is time that the Senate Republicans defend not only their President, but also the Constitution of the United States.

Isn't this sweet? It is good to know that these people care, isn't it? I am sure that Hollywood stars whose lifestyles and movies are abominated by the Islamists will immediately bring them to surrender their determination to drive Israel into the sea.
Of course they will fail, but isn't it sweet that they try? Maybe being successful, rich, and famous as actors distorts the sense of reality, and they thing that the world is a stage, afterall, and who better than they to dominate it. But then, who is writing the script? Maybe I should have put this blog on the "Very Bad Figs" blog site.
Telegraph | News | After Tony and Kofi fail, Brad and Jennifer try Mid-East diplomacy: "Bill Clinton failed, Tony Blair drew a blank and Kofi Annan made little progress. But now a team of Hollywood film stars is about to visit the Middle East on a private peace mission, in the belief that their charms will work magic on the Israeli-Arab conflict.
Brad Pitt, his wife, Jennifer Aniston, and Danny DeVito are among the stars who aim to succeed where world statesmen have stumbled."

It is time for Teddy to be put out to pasture. Don't get me wrong, I am gratified that he is confused enough to vote right a couple of times, but there is enough confusion in Washington without Senate committees being controlled by senility.
Robert Novak: Kennedy Confused: "The Senate chamber was filled with audible gasps last Tuesday when Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, the pro-choice champion, clearly voted 'yes' on final passage of the bill to ban partial-birth abortion. It was a mistake, however, and Kennedy changed his vote to 'no' a few minutes later."
