OpinionJournal - Featured Article: "As for the politics, Mr. Bush is said to be playing for Hispanic votes, as if attracting voters wasn't part of getting elected. But the initial opposition also suggests that this is a controversy that Mr. Bush could easily have dodged. The pessimist conservative wing of his own party is opposed and will give him an especially hard time in the House. Meanwhile, some of the pro-immigration groups on the left (such as La Raza) resist any efforts to assimilate immigrants more easily into American cultural life. Democrats will also give him no credit for stealing one of their issues.
But that's all the more reason to applaud the President for returning to the generous pro-immigrant tone of his 2000 campaign and taking this on even after 9/11. As he said in one of his better campaign lines, 'Family values don't stop at the Rio Grande.' "

NewsMax.com: America's News Page

"Remember, NewsMax Magazine reports on exclusive stories not found on the web or by other major media.

"You won’t ever hear on CNN or read in TIME that Al Sharpton has vowed to teach the Democratic Party a lesson – but you can find out what is really happening by getting the April edition of NewsMax Magazine.

"In NewsMax Magazine, you’ll find out Sharpton's explanation of why he thinks the media need to challenge Bill Clinton about his Oval Office sexcapades, dig into Hillary Clinton’s skeleton-filled closet and ask Ted Kennedy about his last ride with Mary Jo Kopechne."

This looks like it will be the most fun election in my lifetime. Let the good times roll, because happy days are hear again!!!.

The Spectator.co.uk: "The last refuge of the defeated"

It's the "S" word. You know, for "Stupid." That's what Democrats are calling Bush supporters now.

Reminds me of when I was a boy in the jungle that we called the playground at Eagle Point, Oregon. The last argument of the bully was "You wanna fight about it." I never did of course. I was small, but I wasn't stupid.

I'm not stupid now.

New York Post Online Edition: postopinion: "But I do know what all the rival campaigns know: Howard Dean will walk into the Democratic nomination unless one of the other contenders finds a way to puncture the balloon. Honesty is the issue on which Dean is the most vulnerable right now."

Don't hold your breath. In recent years honesty has been quite far down on the list of values held by Democratic voters. This is not Harry Truman's party.
