Telegraph | Opinion | America's liberal media bias does their darling Democrats no favours whatsoever: "As for Bush merely solidifying his base, Kentucky hasn't elected a Republican governor since 1967 and Mississippi has elected only two in the past 125 years. In the swing states, the change in voter identification since September 11 is all in one direction - Florida: Republicans up six points; Minnesota: Republicans up eight points; Michigan: Republicans up nine points; Iowa: Republicans up 12 points; Arkansas (home of the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library): Republicans up 15 points."

Well, it is about time that the unconstitutional obstruction of the Democrats is called into question. The Constitution requires only a majority vote, but the Democrats are using procedure rules to thwart the clear provisions of the Constitution. The nominees deserve a straight up and down vote.

FOXNews.com - Politics - GOP Plans Marathon Senate Session: "Weary of Senate Democrats' continued efforts to block President Bush's judicial nominees, Republicans have planned a 30-hour, all-night session Wednesday to force a marathon debate about Democratic stalling tactics that have left several nominations in limbo."

Loving the Bush Haters: "
I LOVE GEORGE W. BUSH. I worship the man. I wake up every morning glad he is president. When annoyed by small things--traffic, the weather, an overcharge--I say to myself, 'President Bush,' and at once feel better. I like his worldview. I like his dogs and his wife and his mother. I think he looks cool in his shorts and his t-shirts. But it isn't these things that make my heart flutter: It's that he drives the people I hate the most nuts.
The Germans created the word schadenfreude to describe the pleasure one might feel at the woes of one's allies, but no one has yet coined a word for the happiness that can come to a person when those who annoy him complain. Open the paper, and there they all are: the hard-faced women who refer to abortion as 'choice,' the soft-faced male writers who look a little too pampered, the actors, the artists, the faculty hotshots, the with-it, the urbane and the urban, the concerned, the refined, the sincere."

Once again, the double standard. Trent Lott was not nearly as blatant or offensive. Dean Regrets Pain of Confederate Flag Remark (washingtonpost.com): "Howard Dean said Wednesday he regretted the pain he caused by saying that the Democratic Party must court Southerners who display the symbol of the Confederacy in their pickup trucks. Perhaps G. W. Bush's greatest failure so far as President has been his chicken-hearted support of his candidates for the bench. There is still time to recover, but he needs to take the gloves off and go after the weasels who are subverting the constitution.

NewsMax.com: Inside Cover Story: "Democrat insinuations that Charles Pickering is a racist were particularly galling, he said, since 'he is being supported by most of the black leaders in his home state of Mississippi, including NAACP officials - and even including a reverend who runs Jesse Jackson's Operation Breadbasket.'"

Iraq may well be the acid test for the will of Americans to fight terrorism. A vote for any politician who is soft on staying the course in Iraq is a vote for an Islamic America. Are you sure you want that?

Evidence of al-Qaida's Role in Baghdad Attacks Grows: "Evidence is growing that al-Qaida is making its presence felt in the recent wave of bombings in Iraq, which U.S. officials say is becoming a magnet for Islamic militants worldwide who seek a violent confrontation with America."

This prepares the way to challenge any election to win in the courts what liberals can never achieve at the ballot. The liberal agenda is advanced by the court system; hence, doubt must always be cast upon voting.FOXNews.com - Politics - Touch-Screen Voting Could Present Problem for Floridians: "'There's no paper trail,' said Rep. Robert Wexler, D-Fla., 'And there's no assurance that what you put into the machines actually happens.' "

But a liar doesn't need to be consistent. A lie, by its very definition is a contradiction of the truth. The modern man thinks--even a great many theologicans even in Reformed circles think--that God is the author and reconciler of contradictions, which is more a pagan idea than Christian. Anybody who believes that contradictions are resolved in God is unable to recognize the truth when he sees it. How can you see beyond your nose, if your nose might not be your nose. So at best he becomes a blind commandment keepers, but he doesn't even know what the commandments mean, if words might mean their opposite.

On the other hand, if the liar can convince people that truth is whatever advances his agenda, then he doesn't need to worry about contracdictions. And he doesn't need to worry about being a liar for there is no standard by which his words are to be measured. He just goes ahead and collects his salary--until his agenda fails--for it must--and then he will moan and groan, until he invents more lies for his next employer. Quite a gig, don't you think.

But paid liars don't worry about such things. They are paid to lie, and hold their credenitals as journalists, ministers, and teachers in order to lie, and their advancement and pay is directly proportional to their ability to construct beautiful and clever lies. And the rewards and preferments can be considerable. The devil does pay very well in the short run. In the long run, however, hell is very hot, and that's where liars go: Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." But then, liars are well paid to teach folks with itching ears that there no hell. Neat system, isn't it?

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Social Studies (10/31/2003): "So if Bush goes it alone, he is a unilateralist. Whereas if he attempts to work with other countries, he is a unilateralist. Clear enough? "

Yep, good news is bad news for your generic liberal. So it must be explained away by turning the magnifiying glass of pessimism and despair upon the news to see if their is something rotten in it. There is certainly some bad news to be found in anything, if your look long enoght. "Hardworking Americans" means union memebers in this article as such phrases mean in all liberal articles. Non-union laborers are not "working Americans" by definition, and prosperity under a Republican administration is not prosperity. Just as Gray Davis bankrupted California by giving away plush cntracts to "working Californians" so liberals would do the same thing nationally. Read with discretiion. This article is a good place to start to read the code.

U.S. News: Lou Dobbs: The perils of productivity(11/10/03): "There is mounting evidence that despite higher consumer spending and business investment, fewer jobs will be created in this recovery than is the historical norm, and unemployed workers will have to continue their long, hard slog back into the workforce."
