Shows you what the lust for power can do. It makes men mad.

Herald.com - Your Miami Everything Guide: "Now, I cannot testify to Howard Dean's sanity before this campaign, but five terms as governor by a man with no visible tics and no history of involuntary confinement is pretty good evidence of a normal mental status. When he avers, however, that ''the most interesting'' theory as to why the president is ''suppressing'' the 9/11 report is that Bush knew about 9/11 in advance, it's time to check on thorazine supplies."

Why do Democrats hate democacy? Because they lose every time it is tried!

Jay Bryant: Undemocratic Democrats: "We should not be surprised by this, since they don't seem to care much for democracy in the U.S. either.
In Florida in 2000, they tried to undo the vote count as certified by mostly their own election night counters because ballots approved by Democratic local officials were (they decided after the fact) defective. In 2001 and 2002, they tried to hold the Senate hostage until, they supposed, the 2002 elections would give them a working majority. When the elections went the other way, they redoubled their wrench-in-the-gears strategy, with filibusters, threats of filibusters and other tactics designed to prevent the Republican majority from accomplishing anything that might reflect credit on the Administration or Congress.
And don't forget that the 2002 elections would almost certainly have given the Republicans yet another US Senator if the Democrats hadn't managed to contravene New Jersey election laws and allow their dead loser of a candidate, Robert Torricelli to be replaced on the ballot long after the time for such changes had expired. Oh, really? Every since Nixon, liberals have not had any other stragety. I suppose it is because they are really very miserable people, not believing the Bible, thinking that Christianity is a conspiracy. If Christianity is a conspiracy, it is the mother of all conspiracies, and those who believe that it is conspiracy have a very morbid and bitter view of history. No wonder they are filled with hate, and the hate comes out in everything they do. They talk about love, but hatred is in their hearts. I suppose they talk about love, the way Jimmy Swaggart used to talk about moral values. He was trying to convince himself. Those whose lights shine don't need to talk about light much.

Politics of hate won't beat Bush: "The way to defeat Bush is not to advertise how much you hate him. Hard-core ideologues who hate Bush are not going to decide this election. They'll vote for the Democrat, as they do every four years, but there aren't enough of them to elect a Democrat. You need swing voters to do that. Hatred may motivate the left to contribute money, but it is hardly an effective talking point for public consumption if you want to win elections."

The Post shows the silliness of Bush's critics. They are really getting desperate. New York Post Online Edition: postopinion: "If Bush visited a hospital in Germany, they would ask why he wasn't visiting Iraq. If he stayed longer in Iraq, they would want to know why he was using the troops as a campaign prop. If he visited lots of Iraqis in Baghdad, they'd want to know why he wasn't going to Mosul or Kirkuk. "
