Maureen Dowd: Yes, she can - International Herald Tribune: "You can almost hear her mind whirring: She's amazed at how easy it was to snatch Denver away from the Obama saps. Like taking candy from a baby, except Beanpole Guy doesn't eat candy. In just a couple of weeks, Bill and Hill were able to drag No Drama Obama into a swamp of Clinton drama."
--------
Oh, Maureen, you doll. How unfaithful and shrill you are. Some of us remember your equally shrill defense of the Clintons in those heady days of yore. You were so bitter about having to go visit your red-state family members on the Thanksgiving Days of the past. Are you so fickle as to give your love to another? Your words pierce like a stiletto heel driven into the foot of purse-snatcher.

Say! Are these things related:
Nancy Pelosi is against drilling for oil
She has a financial connect to T Boone Pickens who wants windmills.
The price of oil is high.
Russia is making obscene profits from the high price of oil
The Russian army that invaded Georgia is very modern and new, high tech and formidable.
Hmmmmmm.
Why do liberal democrats always support policies that advance the cause of tyranical regimes?

A return to Fun and Games.
It has been almost two years since I posted to this blog, but there is so much material for good humor and ridicule out there, that I just cannot refrain any longer.
For instance. Barack tells us to inflate our tires. Thank you, Mama Barack. All we need is a president to institute the Cabinet position of Tire Inflation. Will they have random checking like they do for DUI to see that we are not driving on soggy tires? This is his energy policy. Makes me tired just thinking about it. But what can you expect from a windbag. I think his trouble is not that he doesn't look like the "rest of us," but his Leninistic mindset.
Today the news is all about the Russian invasion of Georgia [The Caucasian state, not the peach one.] Will this make trouble for Obama? He is the second coming of Jimmy Carter [Naive and liberal]. Remember how surprised and betrayed Carter felt when Russia invaded Afghanistan? He didn't really think they were an evil government.
Can we afford to have a President who cannot see the evil of government like Saddam? or the ambitions of a new Russian empire under Putin? Russia invades Georgia to gain access to the major oil line to the West. That's ok with Obama, who has issued only the mildest statement. How come he doesn't like the US invasion of Iraq? Is only Russia allowed to go to war for oil, oil that it doesn't need, but wants to use to strangle freedom in the West.
Is there a bias here against the United States and freedom on the part of Obama. We cannot fight for oil freedom, and we cannot drill for our own. We must rely on tire gauges and windmills?
I suspect that our trouble in the future will not only be with Islamic extremists, but also with a revived brutal Russian empire. These are not days for Obamas and Carters.
